What is covered by Lincoln's warranty?

Lincoln will repair or replace covered parts found defective in factory-supplied materials or workmanship during the warranty coverage period, which varies by part.

Warranty Coverage Periods

  • New Vehicle Limited Warranty: 4 years/50,000 miles*
  • Powertrain Warranty: 6 years/70,000 miles*

  • Safety Restraint Warranty (safety belts and airbag supplemental restraint system): 5 years/60,000 miles*
  • Emissions Warranty: Coverage varies by vehicle
  • Hybrid/Electric Unique Components: 8 years/100,000 miles*

Finding Your Warranty Coverage

  1. Visit the Lincoln Support website.
  2. Enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or sign in to your account.
  3. Scroll down to the Vehicle Checklist section. Swipe right (mobile devices) or click the right arrow (computers) until you see your Warranty Start Date.
  4. Refer to the warranty coverage periods above to see how much warranty is left on your vehicle.

Finding Your Warranty Expiration Date

The warranty expiration date is determined by your vehicle's Warranty Start Date (also known as the in-service date) and its mileage. To find out when your warranty expires, contact your Lincoln Retailer, the Lincoln Client Relationship Center at 1-800-521-4140, or by selecting Live Chat at the bottom right of lincoln.com/support.
